Connection to existing measurement

We connect directly to your existing meters, provided they have an available HAN/P1 port (IEC 62056-21) or Modbus communication.

Guarantees of Origin and Electricity Certificates

Guarantees of Origin and Electricity Certificates are two separate systems that promote renewable electricity production in Sweden. They serve different functions: Guarantees of Origin track the source of electricity, while Electricity Certificates provide financial support to producers of renewable energy.

Guarantees of Origin

Guarantees of Origin are a tracking system that informs consumers about the origin of electricity. For each megawatt-hour (MWh) of renewable electricity produced, a guarantee is issued. Electricity traders use these to verify that their electricity comes from renewable sources such as wind, solar, or hydro. The system is EU-harmonized, enabling use throughout the union and promoting transparency and consumer choice of green electricity.

Electricity Certificates

The Electricity Certificate system is a support program aimed at increasing the production of renewable electricity. Producers of renewable energy receive electricity certificates that they can sell to power companies. This creates an additional source of income for producers and makes investments in renewable energy more economically attractive.
